I will stack set, super sets, high rep, use negative resistance, manual resistance. Calisthenics most definitely. Creativity is always a plus if one is willing and able.
I've been in the fitness industry since 2003. I've done everything from sell gym memberships to running 16 man training departments, to independently training. Through the years I've been most successful when I'm one on one with my trainers or clients finding solutions to any attitude, trial, obstacle, or set back! I've worked with the 14 year old athlete to the 68 year old retired golfer. I first focus on the current or past physical Injuries as well as any medical stipulations. Then I discover through work the strengths and weaknesses of the body. Quickly applying any goals my clients has, then on to how can we get him or her to their goals!!
